For the Base

  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil

For the Topping

  • 1 cup Kaputei Pizza Sauce
  • 125 grams Grated mozzarella cheese
  • handful grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Any toppings of your choice eg cooked chicken


Making the Base:

  • Put the flour into a large bowl
  • Stir in the yeast and salt.
  • Pour in 1/2 cup of warm water and the oil
  • Mix the ingredients until the dough is smooth.
  • Cover with a cloth. You can leave the dough to rise if you like, but it’s not necessary for a thin crust.

Making the Pizza

  • Roll the dough to your desired thickness (note the dough will rise when cooking so try not to make the dough too thick)


Cooking Process:

In an Oven

  • Line the baking dish with baking paper and oil lightly
  • Place the rolled out dough on the tray
  • Add a few tablespoons of Kaputei Pizza Sauce ® (depending on the size of the pizza)
  • Add cheese and the desired topping
  • Bake in a moderate oven for 8-10 mins

In a Sufuria

  • Oil the sufuria lightly
  • Place the dough on the sufuria
  • Cook one side over high heat until it browns
  • Turn it over and reduce the heat to minimal
  • Add a few tablespoons of Kaputei Pizza Sauce ®
  • Add cheese and the desired topping
  • Cover the sufuria and cook until the cheese has melted

Alternate Toppings:

Alternative Toppings

  • Cooked minced meat
  • Slightly fried tomatoes, pili pili hoho and red pepper
  • Ham
  • Cooked Sausages
  • Cooked Mushrooms
  • Experiment with different ingredients and mixtures of toppings



  • 1 Pkt Pasta
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • Kaputei ® Pasta Sauce (Hot or Regular)
  • 10 Cups Water


  • Boil water in a large pot. To make sure pasta doesn’t stick together, use at least 10 cups of water for every 500gms of pasta.
  • Salt the water with at least a tablespoon of salt. The salty water adds flavor to the pasta.
  • Add pasta and continously stir the pasta
  • Test the pasta by tasting it and once ready drain the pasta.
  • Heat the Kaputei ® Pasta Sauce (Hot or Regular) and add to the pasta for a great tasting healthy meal.

Vegetable Salad with Sun-dried Tomatoes


  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil or a salad oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Mhopped macadamia nuts or peeled peanuts
  • 1 cup Kaputei ® sun-dried tomatoes
  • Mixed salad greens
  • 4 Green onions, cut into 1/2-inch pieces


  • Add all ingredients in a bowl.  You can reduce some of the olive oil and instead use the flavored oil in the Kaputei ® Sun dried tomatoes to add flavor to the salad.
