
Pizza
Ingredients
For the Base
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Instant Yeast
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
For the Topping
- 1 cup Kaputei Pizza Sauce
- 125 grams Grated mozzarella cheese
- handful grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Any toppings of your choice eg cooked chicken
Instructions
Making the Base:
- Put the flour into a large bowl
- Stir in the yeast and salt.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of warm water and the oil
- Mix the ingredients until the dough is smooth.
- Cover with a cloth. You can leave the dough to rise if you like, but it’s not necessary for a thin crust.
Making the Pizza
- Roll the dough to your desired thickness (note the dough will rise when cooking so try not to make the dough too thick)
Notes
Cooking Process:
In an Oven
- Line the baking dish with baking paper and oil lightly
- Place the rolled out dough on the tray
- Add a few tablespoons of Kaputei Pizza Sauce ® (depending on the size of the pizza)
- Add cheese and the desired topping
- Bake in a moderate oven for 8-10 mins
In a Sufuria
- Oil the sufuria lightly
- Place the dough on the sufuria
- Cook one side over high heat until it browns
- Turn it over and reduce the heat to minimal
- Add a few tablespoons of Kaputei Pizza Sauce ®
- Add cheese and the desired topping
- Cover the sufuria and cook until the cheese has melted

- Cooked Mushrooms
- Experiment with different ingredients and mixtures of toppings
